Why would I vote for proven supporters of child rapist Jalosjos? Remember that Manny Villar, Gibo Teodoro and Noynoy Aquino were all members of Congress at the time that Jalosjos was convicted of raping an underage girl. Yet they allowed him to remain in the Congress roster and even seek re-election.
These are not the morals that fit a president of any country. It scares me to think that they claim to be “pro poor” while at the same time, tolerating an individual (Jalosjos) who prey on an innocent, poor, underage girl and raping her.

we need a Disiplinarian we need not to be tough but to concise of what we are talking about we need actions, we need to change the political monopoly.we needsomeone who will hear the cry of the people..we need tovote for the real reason and that is leadership not popularity.. do we need a president who will just listen …lets think of it twice and trice before we decide its the future of the country and its fate

Maraming Pinoy ang natatakot sa tandem ni Gordon at Bayani (aka, The Transformers)… dahil maraming nakakaalam na ang 2 ito ay galit sa mga taong tamad at walang paki-alam sa bayan. At karamihan ng Pilipino ay tamad.
Juan Tamad, kung gusto mong ma-”transform” at mag-bago ng anyo at maging Juan Masipag, iboto si Gordon at Bayani.

To Bro. Eddie, i don’t know him as a person or even as a leader but as a religious icon, well i think he has done more that i expect. But in political side, i don’t think he can handle the country as a president.
To Mr. Teodoro- i haven’t heard anything he has done before. But i’m not against with him.
i would vote for Gordon-Bayani tandem. why? kasi sila yung mga taong alam na nating may napatunayan ng nagawa hindi lang sa sarili nilang lalawigan kundi pati sa kabuuan ng bansa. Magaling na leader si Gordon yan ang masasabi kong totoo. Marunong tumulong at magaling magsalita lalo na sa mga potential investors natin… Secretary ng Tourism kaya lunmakas ang mga tourist destinations natin dahil sa pagpromote nya ng WOW Philippines. Nitong mga nakaraang araw, 2 magkasunod na sakuna na may kinalaman sa transportasyong pangtubig ang nangyari (MV Catalyn/FV Nathalia collision at MV Baleno sinking). Isa na naman itong malungkot na karanasan para sa mga kapwa nating Pilipino. Nakikiramay po ako sa mga pamilya ng mga naging biktima ng sakuna.
Sa mga tatakbong presidente sino sa kanila ang tumulong kaagad sa mga biktima at umaksyon sa problemang kapabayaan ng mga may-ari ng mga ferry-boats? Hindi si Noynoy, Hindi si Gibo, Hindi si Villar… Mabilis ang pagresponde ni Gordon kasama ang mga katulad nyang volunteers ng Philippine National Red Cross. Nanguna sila sa pagbigay ng relief at pagsasagawa ng search and rescue operations sa mga sakay ng mga lumubog na ferries. Sa Senado, mag-isa nyang kinastigo kaagad ang mga tao na responsable sa trahedyang ito. Sa Bicol, nandun din sya para magbigay tulong medical at relief operation sa mga Mayon Volcano evacuees
Isa na naman itong pagkakataon na nagpapakita kung gaano kalaki ang pagmamalasakit at galing sa pagserbisyo sa publiko ni Gordon. You know, I have been living in the US for over 30 years and I am still waiting until the Philippines becomes a “First World” country. I have been to Europe like Spain-Italy, Africa, and China.
I cannot believe how they perceive and think of Filipinos. I almost got involve with a physical fight when they said Filipinos are DUMB and STUPID! Yes, they said Filipinos are stupid and dumb! This one hurts me because it reflects on every Filipino people who are living outside of the Philippines. “I’ve been to your country; your country is full of thieves and corruption in your government! Too many beggars, street people living in shanties along the river and using the river as their own bathroom”. I rather go to Thailand or Malaysia than go to your dirty country”.
I can go on and on… I cannot believe that this is how the world perceives us. I told my wife, this one starts from the top. If the Philippines have good leaders in the past and our country is prosperous, we will not hear this kind of comments.
Now, I do not know every presidential candidate, all I know on what I heard in the news. Going through and reading all the blogs, I became curious and did my research on every candidates and what they represents.
In the US, initially, I was going to vote for John McCain over Barack Obama as the president; however, when he picked Sarah Palin as his Vice-President, I quickly changed my mind so as the other voters at my work.
One research has shown, even though Palin was a former Mayor and Governor of Alaska, she is deficient and lacks qualification. Can you imagine if McCain dies, Sarah Palin becomes the president right away? If you watch her interview with Katie Couric, it was a disaster.
Anyway, I think people in our present society are more intelligent than ever due to the availability of information is just right on our fingertips and that is exactly what I did.
In the previous blog by “Mark” with his video regarding Dick Gordon, I began to research other candidates. The one I am specifically looking for is any accomplishment of every candidate did for their fellow citizens.
I came to realize that in comparison, Dick Gordon is on top of my list. Since I work for a huge investment firm based in New York in which my company does many business in Thailand and Singapore, I got the first hand knowledge on how our top executives in my firm thinks on where to allocate investment as they considered “a safe haven”. It sad to think that the Philippines are also on that list; however, due to the political instability in the Philippines we have been overlooked numerous times.
One executive said, “The Philippines would have been good because most people speak English”. It makes me so mad because its 100,000 jobs that went to Thailand and Singapore.
One of the executives said they are familiar with Dick Gordon when he was the SBMA Chairman at Subic because our firm works with FEDEX at Subic.
In conclusion, I think if Dick Gordon becomes the next president of the Philippines, he has a huge potential of bringing in new investors to the country and therefore creating more jobs for many Filipinos.
I watched his interview on TV; he stated he would travel to other countries and use his experience and diplomacy to sell his country to bring in more investors to the Philippines. I think he is the only one who has a clear map and clear vision of the future of the country. Just like Barack Obama, when he became the US president, there are signs that the US are getting out of recession. I wish him well of creating the Philippines as the “First World”.

for me,, gordon deserves to be our next president. siya yung tao na kapag sinabi, tinutupad. kapag may sakuna agad mo siyang makikita at tumutulong para lang sa kaligtasan ng mamamayn. tulad ng sabi nya, kahit anong lengwahe tayo meron sa pilipinas, iisa lang ang ating lahi, PILIPINO TAYO! di katulad ng ibang kandidato na puro lang salita at sumasandal lang sa mga kilala ng masang pinoy. gumawa muna bago magsalita at higit sa lahat dapat sarili muna nila ang ayusin bago ang bansa. di kailangan ang popolaridad ng isang kandidato,, ang kailangan ng ating bansa ay yung isang pinuno na may sariling paninindigan di lang sa kanyang sarili kundi para sa kanyang kapwa mahirap man o mayaman. panahon na para sa isang bagong bansa na tanging si President Gordon lang ang makakagawa!!

Pilipinas, Kung ang iboboto mo, si Gordon man o hindi, ay alam mo na sya ang karapat-dapat dahil sa kanyang malinis na record at angking kakayanan, wala tayong pagdedebatehan dun. Iisa ang kagustohan natin, ang pag-unlad ng Pilipinas, diba? Pero kung ikaw ay boboto, dahil nabayaran ka, o dahil malakas sya sa survey, o maraming syang kilalang … Lees verderartista o ano pa mang bagay na walang pinag-isipang basehan, sinasayang mo lang ang karapatan mo. Ito ay eleksyon ng tao na magpapatakbo sa bansang tinitirahan mo, ng mga anak mo, ng mga mahal mo sa buhay. Isipin mo ang kinabukasan mo at ng mga tao na nakapaligid sa’yo.Piliin mo kung sino ang pinakamagaling sa kanilang lahat. Yung pinaniniwalaan mong magdadala ng tunay na pagbabago.
Ako, Gordon at Bayani. Matibay na track record at mga napatunayan ng positibong resulta. Attorney, Olongapo, Subic, Department of Tourism, Senate Blue Ribbon, Automated Election, Veteran’s Bill, Red Cross, Engineer, Marikina, MMDA, … ilan lang sa mga bagay na nagpapatunay ng kanilang mabuting pagserbisyo sa bayan at magaling na pagyakap sa sinumpaang tungkulin.

Mga kababayan, piliin natin yung magbibigay sa atin ng dangal. Itataas ang pagkilala sa atin, Sa uri palang ng iyong gawain, naitaas na ang iyong dignidad. In defense of Mr. Bayani Fernando, having a political will is not being gay. It is the lack of it. Lets all pray that the right person be elected, a man with one wife, for we know that the reason bakit maraming corrupt na officials, ay dahil maraming asawa, maraming families na kailangang suportahan, kaya anong gagawin niya, corruption to support his families,and also, bakit bumaba na ang moral values ng mga filipino, its because we put people in the goverment that dont respect the sanctity of marriage, they justify having more than one family, kaya akala tuloy ng mga filipino, it’s normal, kasi ginagawa ng mga taong we look up to. il go for gordon, i think he is what our country needs. These villar,noynoy,erap,etc , if they win, they will just go w/ the flow.just like what our leaders did the past 20yrs, just stay in malacanang or travel abroad, make decisions that he needs to do that day, but never thinks about what he wants for the philippines to be 10-20 years from now, when he longer is president. vision for our country baga.they dont have the will to do the unpopular & politically risky changes that our country needs in order not just to go forward,but leap forward.almost everything’s broke in our system of government. we have a lot of laws, but they’re not implemented or followed, not because they’re not good for us, but because these laws will somehow cause us some inconveniences. if you religiously follow the law in this country,since almost everyone breaks it, you will even be at a disadvantage.
some say negative things about gordon,they may be right about it,but hey, who’s perfect. what is important is generally, he has done greater things and has the vision and the ‘balls’ to do what is necessary for our country.

yes gibo’s resume looks very good, he talks smart.but in the years that he is in politics, he has not done anything significant yet that is to be expected of someone of his intelligence. to be effective in running this country, it is not about who’s got the highest IQ, who has the purist intention, or who’s the most successful in business. they will be running a very complex system of government, where in every change that you will implement, there will be numerous factors that will come into play and people who will resist it.
a lot of our politicians now are cum laudes when they were in college, some were even activists who sacrificed for the democracy that we have today. but what happened after that, they’re in power now…unfortunately for us,they must have realized how difficult it is to fight the present system and win over it, so better just join it, and that is exactly what they did.
what i am saying is, these positive traits of being intelligent, hardworking, religious, pure,etc, yes, we need those in our president, but the most important that what we gotta have right now ,is someone who has already proven us that he can be an effective leader. GORDON has done that, he’s shown us that he has the political will to do it.we need a leader who will never negotiate nor compromise. someone who will do what needs to be done.
actually i also like noynoy,he says that he will never steal from the governmentt, and i believe him, but i dont think that he has a concrete plan on how to prevent all the other politicians from stealing or the political will to put them in jail if they do so. just like cory, she did not steal from our country, but she wasn’t able to prevent others from stealing or taking advantage. that is because she was not prepared for the post when she became president. she failed because she did not have the experience nor the plan on how to lead the country.
as for villar, how he looks and speaks, i think he’s a kind person, we also need a compassionate president. but i’ve seen him say on tv during an interview,that he doesn’t want arguments,he’s more on settling what the problem is and finding a common ground that is agreeable to both parties. Man, that is good for business, but if you will be running a country, you should be firm and never negotiate for what you think is the best for the nation, no matter what the consequence may be.
w/ gibo, when he talks you’ll know that he can be a good president,but in all the years that he’s been in politics,he has not done nor proven anything yet that shows us that he can be an effective leader. the presidency is not where he should be when he will be having his on-the-job-training. just like in boxing, you should not be fighting for the world championship, if you are just in the 2nd or 3rd fight of your career.
i believe, almost all of the 10 presidentiables really want the best for our country, but i think, w/ his track record of being successful as a leader throughout the years, we’ve got the best shot in GORDON. but man, tsktsktsk….. malamang matatalo eh.hehe. sayang.

if you closely look at it,most of our past presidents,and even the present one – gma, possessed or has either of these traits (whom everybody’s saying his candidate has): intelligent, hardworking, religious,pure,compassionate to the poor,outstanding lawyer or w/ great educational background, brilliant speaker, good lawmaker,etc. but all of them, before becoming president, had no history of leading a smaller version of the philippines (their province/city) successfully. ( being successful in business is very much different from running an administrative government position as what we’ve seen in thailand w/ the expelled former prime minister shinawatra who’s also a billionaire) in short, they really had no effective and proven formula on how to run the government that is why all of them failed.
who we need to put in the presidency should be someone who has shown us that he can deliver, as we will be having a greater chance w/ him. we should not gamble yet again with these unproven candidates or else we would be spending another six years of our lives in misery and being caught in traffic jams because of the rallies..hehe. i think we have the best shot in RICHARD GORDON. with his track record, he has proven us that he is an excellent leader in terms of results, as it is what we need the most, not those promises that are being made today just to be broken from 2010 to 2016..hehehe…
